How to Play Wave Rider

Navigate the Water Paths

You start each run on a moving surfboard in the middle of the sea. You need to move left and right to stay within the safe blue water zones. You jump over low obstacles to maintain your current speed. Your board loses durability if you hit rocks or slide over dry land sections. You must look for repair icons to fix your gear during the long journey. The run ends immediately if your board strength reaches zero from too many impacts.

Unlock New Water Gear

Golden starfish appear in dangerous spots across the shifting ocean surface. You should collect these items to save up for better jet skis and boards. High-tier equipment offers better handling and higher durability for tough runs. You can visit the shop between games to trade your stars for new rides. Better gear makes it easier to survive the increasing speed of the late game.
