    About Wyrmdash

Wyrmdash is a classic pixel-style arcade adventure game in which you control a tiny dragon (wyrm) that races through deadly mazes at breakneck speed. Inspired by traditional "dash" games, Wyrmdash blends rapid reflexes, obstacle avoidance, and exploration of continuously changing locations to produce an exhilarating and intriguing experience.

Wyrmdash soon became one of the most appealing indie games for fans of the hard-fast-extremely demanding genre, thanks to its sharp retro graphics, vivid soundtrack, and "die and play again immediately" feature.

How to play the Wyrmdash game?

    Dash to move!

    • Tap the directions (left/right/up/down) to cause the dragon to "dash" in the appropriate direction, navigating the grid-shaped mazes.
    • Each dash represents an instantaneous and decisive shift of location.

    Avoid traps and adversaries

    • Traps throughout the maze include spikes, lasers, rotating traps, and even moving opponents.
    • Even minor collisions can force you to restart!

    Collect runes and objects

Runes on the dash can help you get points, unlock new skins, or briefly buff powers such as "invisibility", "continuous dash", or "time slow".

    Pass the space levels

Each level represents a distinct "world," from the fire cave to the ice zone to the virtual space, complete with its own set of effects and laws.

    Tips and Tricks

    • Concentrate on the dash rhythm: Dashing too quickly or continually will prevent you from reacting, so develop the sensation of "stopping at the right time".
    • Read the map before dashing.  One key ability is to anticipate potential directions to avoid being surrounded.
    • Collect runes in safe sections. There is no need to "risk your life" to acquire harder runes; instead, prioritize survival to progress.
    • Challenge mode allows you to train your reflexes in high-pressure situations.
    • Use appropriate skins: Some skins offer auxiliary effects, such as illuminating the road or generating effects when dashing; choose based on your playstyle.
